Birthday Tag

Now that my first daughter is at the age where she is getting invited to birthday parties, I have been making these birthday tags like crazy. The kids are only 3, so they don't even look at the cards, and I don't bother slaving over one that's just going to get tossed immediately. But these fun tags hang off the gifts for everyone to see and are very fun and SUPER quick to make. I seriously just made this in about 5 minutes - dashed upstairs while one daughter watched tv and the other slept in her swing, and they didn't even miss me. :) Here is the back of the tag:

The funny thing is that this stamp set is actually a Valentine's set. I'm just waiting and waiting for PTI to release a birthday version!

~Supplies~
Stamps: Tiny Treats: Valentine; Birthday Basics (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip (SU)
Accessories: Melon Mambo marker (SU); T1 Copic; circle and scallop circle punches (Marvy); rustic twine (PTI)

So, so cute! It's such a great and simple idea--I'm definitely doing this.

This is so cute. I didn't think I would get much use of a valentine set, but after seeing your cute tag, I think it would be fun to have. I love making tags! Great idea.

Oh my goodness.... adorable! Love the idea of making up a bunch of them. I don't usually put in the effort of a handmade card for the kids' friends bday parties because (let's face it), kids don't usually really appreciate the effort, lol. But I could definitely see making tags like this to have on hand! Thanks for the inspiration! :)
